About Failure

When we fail, we might be disappointed.

When we fail, we might immediately want to give up. We usually get back up and say, "I'll give it another go".

and we fail again, and again and again but this time, we say to ourselves, "this is it, I quit."

but the next day, our body is recharged and our heart is no longer hurt, then we smile and say, "I think I'll try again. Keep going and Don't give up!"

and eventually we learn to fail and fail again and realize that it was failure all along that kept us going.

and in the end we realize that God has a great plan for us.

:)

Quote Of The Day

"Life isn’t about finding yourself.
Life is about creating yourself."

Take time to think through what we say, what we promise, because our true quality is our own words.

20 Things You Should Do Everyday!

1. Wake up earlier. Not only does this improve productivity but it also gives you more time to make a good, hearty breakfast.

2. Make your bed. Let’s be real, being welcomed to a tidy bed after a long day at work/school (or a long day in general) is probably the best feeling anyone will ever experience.

3. If you want, spend a little more time on your appearance. Take some time choosing an outfit, applying make up or whatever. Do what helps you boost your confidence and self-esteem.

4. Stay hydrated, folks. Keep a bottle of water with you wherever you go.

5. Stretch everyday or start yoga (or do both, why not?)

6. Create a playlist consisting of songs that make you happy and listen to it. Listen to songs for the mood you want to be in, instead of the mood you are in.

7. Compliment at least one person per day. This could be an acquaintance, co-worker, class mate, stranger, whoever!

8. Use your manners. If someone holds the door for you, lets you go first etc, they did it voluntarily and didn’t have to do it, so a “thank you” wouldn’t hurt.

9. Eat your fruit and vegetables and always choose the healthy version over the junk food.

10. Have a good laugh. Catch up with friends, watch some ‘Parks and Recreation’, go see some stand-up comedy, reminisce about funny moments that have happened to you. You don’t need to be a doctor to know that humor has many benefits.

11. Be optimistic. Always look at the positives. There’s no point on focusing on the negatives because that isn’t going to help anyone's mood at all.

12. Exercise. It doesn’t have to be anything to intense. A run around the block, a walk with your dog or even a ‘Just Dance’ session will do the job.

13.Bring a book/magazine or collect the daily newspaper with you. Spend you spare time reading.

14. Try and learn something new everyday. This can either be an interesting fact you saw online or a new skill someone taught you.

15. Help others when you are able to. Help your classmates with school work or offer to help you struggling neighbour lift those heavy objects.

16. Stop procrastinating. No matter how unmotivated you are to, push yourself and complete what you need to complete. Do what you gotta do. You know you’ll love yourself for doing it.

17. Drink some tea, because that stuff is goooooood (and also beneficial).

18.Make time to do things that help you relax, whether that’s painting, having baths, doing you nails or going for a run.

19. Don’t dwell on your mistakes, but instead grow and learn from them.

20. And lastly, be kind to yourself. If you love who you are, everyone else will.

It's never too late for birthday surprise, as long as it is still m(a)y month.

After class My B pick me up at Campus, we go to Pasar Festival, Kuningan. I don't know why, he ask me to have some karaoke there (since I know, we had a karaoke a year ago).. and tadaaaa... I got my birthday surprise from my Girls, Tya, Balqis, Uci, Vicky and Risma. They already made a conspiracy with my B,hmm okay fine. I thought my birthday is just like an introspection day, since my birthday is on 20 May, on weekdays and I'm busy with my some-daily-routine (read; a half worker and a half student). Also when I'm turning to 24, My B is a 'lil bit annoyed me. Ergh..

Surprisingly!!! 4 days after my birthday, he give me surprise.
Thank you so much dear my B and my girls, I'm a happiest birthday girl on earth.

Long time no see, Semarang.
One of my favorite city since my childhood, just like my second hometown after Pekalongan. Here we go, Semarang.. I took the train from Stasiun Senen to Semarang Tawang at 4 pm and approximately takes 7 hours to go.

Finally arrived in Semarang at 11 pm. My cousins pick me up at Stasiun Semarang Tawang. After that we went to River View Cafe, Simpang Lima. Ok, I'm a bit hungry yet sleepy. I eat some fish and chips and went to my Aunty's house.

At night, my another cousins accompany me to visit the famous Lawang Sewu and get some culinary night. We ate Lumpia, Tahu Gimbal and enjoy the coffee at Simpang Lima.

Tahu Gimbal
Tahu Gimbal?? I often hear this Semarang traditional food, known as Tahu Gimbal. Believe it or not, this is the first time I tried this food. Tahu gimbal made with tofu, plus cabbage, sprouts and some vegetables, shrimp and eggs smothered in peanut sauce dressing, like ketoprak in Jakarta. The taste is so yummy.

After culinary night, I went to Bandeng Juwana, Pusat Oleh-Oleh Semarang. There are many snacks, gift and traditional food that you can buy, such as Wingko Babat, Bandeng Fish, Enting-Enting, etc. I bought some traditional food for my friends and go home because tomorrow I'll back to Jakarta.

Thank you Semarang. I'll see you soon.

Pulau Harapan, Kepulauan Seribu

Here we go..

Saya? Memilih meminum salah satu obat yang paling ampuh untuk mengatasi rasa mual kemudian tertidur pulas (a.ka pelor).

Para Penumpang Kapal Nelayan

Perjalanan sekitar 3 jam menuju pulau harapan.

Finally welcome to Pulau Harapan
Rombongan Snorkeling
Subhanallah begitu indah ciptaanMu! Saya sampai berjanji sama diri saya sendiri kalo suatu hari nanti saya akan kembali menjelajahi laut di Indonesia. Aamiin.

Happy 25th Birthday Andi, all the best and kindness!
***

Yes holiday is over, back to reality and focus on our study and career

See you on the next trip~

Gombong, a small city in Kebumen, Central Java. Last time I travel to Gombong with my working mate, to attend the wedding ceremony my lovely Rizki. Her wedding held in one of the sights called Benteng Van Der Wijck.

This location formerly built in 1818 by Dutch East India Company (VOC) office and conquer to Diponegoro war. There were many troops come to the location and make the military office. In 1844-1848, this locationbuilt in the office location for preparation to clash with Yogyakarta Sultanate and named this location as Fort Conchius. In 1856 this location is used as Pupillenshool for European youngster who born in Indonesia (Hindia Belanda) and the Dutch Collonial changed the name to Benteng Van Der Wijck. Ok you can ask google for the detail information :)

Benteng Van Der Wijck has octagon shape and most of the wall consist of red color.
